Designed for tactical use, law enforcement, security operations, training, and night hunting, the UNVG-51 is built around high-performance Gen 2+ or Gen 3 image intensifier tubes combined with advanced multi-coated optics, delivering a bright, sharp image even in rapidly changing lighting conditions.
Manual gain control allows precise brightness tuning, while the independent dual-pod design supports both single-eye and dual-eye configurations. Each pod features an automatic power-off function when rotated out of position, conserving battery life and preventing image bloom.
The rugged yet lightweight composite housing (approx. 550 g) is corrosion- and impact-resistant and fully compatible with standard dovetail helmet and head mounts. Powered by a single AA battery, the UNVG-51 provides up to 15 hours of runtime, extendable to 50–60 hours with the included external battery pack. An integrated infrared illuminator supports navigation, reading, and close-quarters tasks in complete darkness.
Optimized for PVS-14-style objective and eyepiece lenses, the UNVG-51 offers excellent compatibility with existing accessories, making it an ideal upgrade path for users transitioning from monocular systems to a wide-FOV dual-tube platform.
